Access to vocational support

  • increase public awareness on camapgin for disability
  • educating public services eg: banks, public transport
  • education to employers re recruitment / advertising (guidelines)
  • a more consistent standard of support (a minimum standard)

Why the contribution is important

  • currently a burden for families / carers
  • variable / complex pathways
  • disaparity between different conditions & assistance with return to work
  • the invisible disabilities eg: stroke / brain injury, mental health / addiction support
  • access to tertiary education is limited so - limited access to professional careers.
